Power Lift Recliner Chair

Are you physically challenged or are confined to a wheelchair and want to live independently? Thanks to technology, you can move from one point to another by just a push of a button. The power lift recliner chair is not only a chair but a device that will move you from a standing position to a sitting position or simply recline you.

There are three main types of power lift recliner chairs. The first and simplest type of the three is the two position chair lift. As the name suggests, the chair can move to and from a normal position, to up to a 45 degrees reclining position and whatever angle in between. Second on list is the three position chair lift which obviously the name suggests can move into three different angles.

This type of chair can move from an upright position, to a nearly flat position and can also adjust to any level of recline in between the two main positions. Note that both the two position and three position chair lifts types have only a single control for the back and the foot rest. This means that if the back is reclined, the foot rest automatically rises up.

The other type of recliner with power lift seat is the infinite position chair, which also achieves a near flat angle like the three position lift chair. What stands this chair out of the rest is its separate control of the back and the footrest. This interprets that one can recline the chair and the foot rest will not rise up. It therefore is ideal because it gives the user some bit of flexibility which of course translates to comfort.

When shopping for a power lift recliner chair, be advised that the weight and height of the end user are the main determining factors. Typically, recliner chairs hold a capacity of something between 300lbs to 600lbs. you should also know that the chairs specs vary when it comes to their seat width and height whereby the height can be anything between 5’6 to 6 feet or more.

That said, it does not mean that the power lift recliner chair is only limited to its functional use of assisting physically challenged individuals with their mobility, it can also be used in the living room for relaxing. You can cuddle up, watch TV or read your favorite book or magazine as you relax and relish its comfort.
